Binding the Mundane Sublime
2025


Exploring everyday beauty through the medium of bookmaking. 

I created a series of publications focused on the book as a physical object, experimenting with binding techniques, materials, and formats. The work draws on my own photo archive, mostly eerie or quiet scenes I shot in nature and the city as source material. To support the production process, I built four punching cradles out of wood and metal for binding.
